How to Boost Your Productivity

Being productive is so important in day to day life especially in work and school. It's so easy to get distracted and lose sight of your priorities, but getting back on track can reduce stress and be more organized.

This will allow you to visually see all of the things you need to get and you will have an idea of how much time each thing can take. Once you have everything written down, organize it by what is most important to the least important. Doing the smaller tasks first will help you feel more productive just because psychologically you will see the list get smaller and you will feel more productive allowing you to get through more tasks.

The next tip would be to put down your phone and focus. This is the hardest thing to do in my opinion, because we all constantly want to stay up to date with what is going on around us. Our phones are constantly buzzing and beeping so ignoring it is a hard thing to do because our attention spans are that of a squirrel. One thing I have found to be helpful is to make yourself work for time intervals (15 or 30 minutes) then taking a five to 10 minute phone break if you feel like you need it by the end of your time interval. You can get a lot done in just those short intervals if you're focused and working through them effectively.

This one may seem strange, but if you're tired you're less likely to give your best work and you will be slower at doing it. Sleep makes you more energetic resulting in you getting more things done. Having a sleep schedule is also so important. Speaking from personal experience, I am way more likely to get a lot more done if my sleep schedule is the same every night, and I have a nightly routine. This forces you to not get in a slump of going to bed at three in the morning every single night.

With these tips I hope you will be more productive, and get things done!
